One of the most fast-bowling talents to emerge from Bangladesh in recent years, Nahid made an impressive test debut against Sri Lanka in 2024 with pace exceeding 140 kph. A rare genuine out-and-out fast bowler from Bangladesh, he started playing competitive cricket at the age of 18, bypassing the traditional Under-19 pathway. With a remarkable performance in his second first-class season Nahid took 41 wickets announcing himself as a future star. Following this, he delivered a standout five-wicket haul in the 2022–23 National Cricket League for Rajshahi Division. With his debut in Khulna Tigers during the Bangladesh Premier League, Nahid garnered a massive fan following. Known for his fearless attitude, he represents a new era of fast bowling in Bangladesh.
